Qatar’s Hamad International Airport mulls adding valet parking service
Hamad International Airport (HIA) is apparently considering plans to introduce valet parking as one of a number of new measures to make it easier for travelers departing from the facility. The airport is currently in talks with a number of contractors to provide the valet service and other services for frequent fliers and other visitors,the Peninsula quotes an unnamed HIA source as saying. There are no further details of what these new services may be, but they are scheduled


Hamad International ‘world’s coolest airport,’ Huffington Post says
Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA) has been dubbed the “coolest” in the world, according to a list drawn up for the Huffington Post. The ranking, produced by deals website Travelzoo, lists seven airports around the world that it says help make global travel more pleasurable.
