City East Coast Study - The premier coastal protection program

The City East Coast Study, led by CPG’s Climate Resilience Studio, is Singapore’s flagship coastal protection project, designed to safeguard critical infrastructure and communities along the southeastern coastline from sea level rise and storm surge. As the most complex and extensive of PUB’s studies, it pioneers an adaptive, risk-based approach combining engineering excellence with nature-based solutions. The study explores phased implementation, integration with future developments, and innovative design typologies to ensure long-term resilience, while aligning closely with national sustainability goals and stakeholder priorities.
